Your guide to the 2019 Uber Chicago Car List for the Uber SELECT, Uber BLACK and Uber BLACK SUV services. If you want to become an Uber driver in Chicago for the premium services, then you must meet certain car requirements set out by Uber.

There is no Uber Chicago Car list for UberX or UberXL but to become an Uber driver both you and your vehicle must meet some general requirements, no matter which service type you will offer.

The Uber Comfort Car List for 2019

It seems that the only difference between the UberX car lists and the Uber Comfort car list is that the smaller compact vehicles have been removed. This is right inline with the Uber Comfort philosophy of absolute rider comfort (leg room and all). We checked every available city and found that the car lists were all pretty well the same. To be absolutely sure your car is eligible, try signing up!

Most vehicle models should be no older than 5 years, to be on the safe side your vehicle should be 2 years old or newer.
