What Are The Requirements To Be An UberX or UberXL Driver In Canada?

Do you have a coworker who keeps mentioning how much extra money she is making from Uber? She tells you how easy it is to make a few extra bucks on the way home!

Maybe you have a friend or a brother who is also taking advantage of the rideshare economy and spends their Saturday evenings and Sunday mornings driving home the late night partiers in the downtown core.

In either case, driving for Uber is looking mighty appealing and that vacation you’ve been saving up for could become a reality much sooner if you made some extra cash on the side.

There are a few regulations in place for Canadian Uber drivers and each of the 3 provinces has their own requirements for driving with a rideshare platform. Use the tabs below to find out what your province requires for Uber partners.
